KATHMANDU: Nepal is currently under the influence of western and local wind systems, along with some impact from moisture-bearing air flowing in from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
This afternoon, skies are expected to be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions, while most other areas will remain clear.
There is a chance of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly and mountainous areas. Light snowfall may also occur in a few mountainous locations.
Tonight, the weather in the hilly regions is forecast to remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will likely experience clear skies.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning could occur in one or two places in the hills, with the possibility of light rain or snowfall in isolated mountainous areas.
