KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called for the use of technology and evidence-based approaches in criminal investigations and prosecutions to ensure effective justice delivery.
Inaugurating the ‘Third National Conference of Police Investigators and Government Prosecutors’ in Kathmandu today, PM Oli stressed the need for fact-driven, transparent, and impartial processes.
He said the government is committed to providing necessary resources, skilled personnel, and improved facilities to strengthen law enforcement.
PM Oli highlighted that as criminals use advanced methods to hide crimes, police must be equipped with modern tools for timely and accurate investigation.
He also emphasized the importance of accountability, equal rights, and justice for victims through systematic reform. The two-day conference will conclude with a declaration outlining its key takeaways.
