MYAGDI: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has emphasized that priority will be given to the overall development of Myagdi.
Speaking at a program organized at Beni Municipality-4 Singa and Tatopani this morning, Chair Dahal highlighted that Myagdi’s prosperity will be driven by the development of physical infrastructure and tourism.
“I visited Tatopani Kunda (pond) here with my family six years ago. Since then, we’ve continued efforts by allocating budgets for key projects, including the Beni-Darbang-Dhorpatan road, the protection and promotion of Tatopani Kunda, and the control of river encroachment, which were requested by locals during my visit,” he shared.
Chair Dahal also committed to initiating the installation of a Bailey bridge over the Myagdi River as an alternative to the Phaperkhet landslide, which has become a major obstacle for the Beni-Darbang road.
