KATHMANDU: Rukum Purba district recorded an earthquake at 7:34 pm on Thursday.
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre stated that that magnitude 4.2 earthquake occurred in Rukum Purba with its epicentre at Ranmamaikot of the district. The recent weeks have witnessed series of earthquakes in the western part of Nepal.
