KATHMANDU: The Judicial Council has recommended three individuals for appointment as Supreme Court justices.

During a meeting held on Tuesday, the Council recommended one senior advocate and two High Court chief judges for the position of Supreme Court justice.

The Judicial Council has recommended senior advocate Megharaj Pokharel, Janakpur High Court Chief Judge Srikanta Paudel, and Dipayal High Court Chief Judge Shantisingh Thapa for the Supreme Court justiceship.
