KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Thailand has facilitated the rescue and return of two Nepali nationals—a man and a woman—who had been stranded in Cambodia for a long time. They were brought back to Nepal on Friday.
In light of this, the Embassy has reiterated its call for individuals to pursue foreign employment only through official channels and with a government-issued labour permit.
It has specifically advised against seeking quick, high-paying jobs in countries like Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand outside the legal framework.
The Embassy has also appealed to the media and civil society to help spread awareness about safe migration practices.
