KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing the partial influence of western winds and a western low-pressure system.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, fog is prevailing in some areas of the Terai.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions, including Koshi Province, and mostly clear in other parts of the country.

This afternoon, the division forecasts partly cloudy conditions in the hilly areas, including Sudurpaschim Province, with clear skies in the remaining regions.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.

At night, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly regions, including Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini Provinces, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy conditions.

Light snowfall is also expected in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions.

Over the next 24 hours, light snowfall is expected in some high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

The Division has also warned of potential fog in parts of the Terai in the morning, urging caution as it could impact daily activities, health, roads, and aviation.
