Police on Tuesday arrested a youth in possession of five kilograms of hashish in Dhunibesi Municipality-6 of Dhading district.

The arrested has been identified as Arjun Yadav (19) of Sukhipur Municipality-2 in Siraha district.

Security personnel deployed from Khanikhola-based Area Police Office frisked Yadav and seized illegal drugs from his belonging after he aroused suspicion.  He was carrying a huge cache of hashish packed in 10 packets and walking down the Prithvi Highway in Naubise.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
