KATHMANDU: The Cabinet meeting scheduled for 6 PM today has been postponed at the last minute.

It was speculated that the appointment of the Governor could take place in today’s meeting.

No new date or time for the next meeting has been set.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair are scheduled to meet today.

They are expected to discuss the appointment of the new Governor at Nepal Rastra Bank.
