Condolence motion passed over demise of former lawmaker Dangol

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has passed a condolence motion on the demise of former lawmaker and HoR member Tirtha Ram Dangol. The condolence proposal presented by Speaker Devraj Ghimire was passed unanimously by the meeting on Sunday.

The Nepali Congress leader Dangol was elected HoR member through the 2056 BS general election. He was also the Constituent Assembly in 2064BS.

Dangol, a democracy fighter, had worked as the minister of state for health.

He died at 77. The HoR meeting extended condolences to the family members.

The HoR is meeting next on Monday.
