SAPTARI: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak stated that the current government was formed with the objective of turning the nation’s despair into hope.

Speaking at a press conference organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Saptari Branch, on Thursday, Lekhak emphasized that the government, established with the cooperation of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML leadership, and other parties, has inspired confidence among the Nepali people.

Highlighting the government’s priorities, Minister Lekhak said that the coalition was built on the agenda of constitutional amendment, good governance, economic progress, and political stability.

“It has been ten months since the government was formed. We haven’t had to go to Parliament for a vote of confidence. We are moving forward with stability, and the government and politics are steady,” he remarked.

He further expressed optimism, saying there is renewed hope for transformative progress in the country. He added that improvements in legal policies are also underway.
