KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives meeting has been adjourned until 1 PM Wednesday following continued obstruction by opposition lawmakers.

The meeting, which began nearly 90 minutes later than scheduled, was disrupted immediately as opposition MPs stood in protest, halting proceedings.

Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire initially postponed the session for 30 minutes, but with no resolution, he adjourned it until Wednesday at 1 PM.

A similar obstruction had disrupted Sunday’s meeting as well.
