KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives meeting in the Federal Parliament will take place today at 1 pm at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.
On the agenda for today’s session is the presentation of the ’61st Annual Report of the Auditor General, 2081′ by Prime Minister KP Oli.
Additionally, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will propose withdrawing the ‘Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081.’
The meeting will also address MP Prem Suwal’s opposition notice regarding the proposal to seek permission to present the ‘Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081’ for decision.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is set to present the ‘Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081’ during the session.
Moreover, the Parliament Secretariat has confirmed that motions to seek approval for introducing the ‘Nepal Police Bill, 2081’ and the ‘Armed Police Force, Nepal Bill, 2081’ will be discussed.
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will also propose a motion to review the ‘Banking Offences and Punishments (Second Amendment) Bill, 2080’ alongside the Finance Committee’s report.
