KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSP) has decided not to support the land ordinance brought by the government. The parliamentary party meeting held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday took this decision.

The government had brought six different ordinances when the parliament was not in session. Out of these, JSP Nepal decided not to support the land ordinance.

JSP Nepal has decided to be positive about the approval of the remaining five ordinances. Although it had decided to vote in favor of other ordinances, it decided to vote against the land ordinance saying that its provisions are against the national interest, said MP Mrigendra Kumar Singh.
