Meeting of ruling coalition leaders underway at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has convened a meeting of the ruling coalition parties at his official residence in Baluwatar.

The discussions are focused on preparations for the Nepal government’s policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year, which is scheduled to be presented by President Ramchandra Paudel before both houses of the Federal Parliament on Baisakh 19 (May 2).

Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, along with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, and Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, are attending the meeting.

UML Senior Vice-Chair Ishwar Pokharel, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, Deputy General Secretaries Pradeep Gyawali, and Bishnu Rimal are also present.

Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Chair Mahantha Thakur and Janata Samajwadi Party Chair Ashok Rai have joined the discussions as well.
