KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel is scheduled to deliver an address to both houses of the Federal Parliament on May 2, according to Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung.
Minister Gurung stated that the President’s address has been scheduled for 3 PM.
He also mentioned that a meeting of the Cabinet held on Monday evening has approved international visits for various ministers and secretaries.
Regarding the ongoing teachers’ protest, Gurung said the issue was briefly discussed during the meeting, and ongoing talks with teachers are expected to lead to a resolution by Wednesday.
