KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) will hold a Parliamentary Party meeting at 2 PM today at its Chamati office in Kathmandu.
The meeting is expected to focus on discussions regarding the six ordinances currently under review.
The party will also review the structure of its Policy Review and Legal Affairs departments.
RSP has already submitted a formal request to the Parliament Secretariat, urging the rejection of the six ordinances.
The meeting will decide how party members will present their stance on the issue.
Another important topic on the agenda is party leader Rabi Lamichhane’s letter to Speaker Devraj Ghimire, requesting the reinstatement of his parliamentary membership, which was suspended.
Lamichhane sent the letter on January 31, but the Speaker has yet to respond after reviewing the request.
Furthermore, RSP intends to bring up the Pathibhara Cable Car issue during the House of Representatives session on February 6.
