KATHMANDU: Mahiman Singh Bista, a section officer of the Supreme Court (SC), has been arrested for sending a letter to the Dillibazaar Prison asking for the arrest of Resham Chaudhary, the patron of Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP).

He was arrested by the police from the Supreme Court premises. He has been taken to the Kathmandu District Police Range in Bhadrakali.

Bista was arrested after the letter issued in Bista’s name was found to be suspicious and illegal, sources said.
