KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has ordered the release of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Vice Chair Rabindra Mishra, who had been in police custody for 50 days.
Mishra’s wife had filed a habeas corpus petition at the Supreme Court demanding his immediate release.
A joint bench of Justices Kumar Chudal and Til Prasad Shrestha issued the order on Friday.
Mishra was released in the presence of legal representatives.
