Sujan Kadariya elected Chair of ANNFSU by narrow margin

KATHMANDU: Sujan Kadariya has been elected as the chairman of the All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), the student organization affiliated with the CPN-UML, from its 24th General Convention.

The election, held on Thursday using an electronic voting machine, saw Kadariya win the chairmanship by a narrow margin of just 7 votes. Kadariya secured 732 votes, narrowly defeating his rival Prakash Paudel, who received 724 votes.

Bikas Shrestha was elected as the vice-chairman in open category, while Anjana Siwakoti was elected as the vice-chair representing the women’s category.

Similarly, Deepak Dhami was elected as the General Secretary with 785 votes.
