KATHMANDU: The hearing on the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case remained incomplete for the second consecutive day at the Pokhara High Court.

The case against Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane has been scheduled for ongoing hearing. The Kaski District Court had earlier ordered Lamichhane’s release on a bail of NPR 6 million.

Lamichhane appealed to the High Court, claiming the bail amount was excessive.

Simultaneously, government prosecutors approached the High Court, demanding that Lamichhane be kept in custody.
