Despite claims of facilitating quick, easy, and urgent transactions, the service has remained inaccessible following the disruption.

Numerous customers relying on Esewa have been left without access to their accounts. One affected user expressed frustration over failed transactions during the outage.

When contacting Esewa for assistance, representatives acknowledged a problem with the wallet application and indicated that repairs are underway. Although they suggested that customers could utilize the website for urgent transactions, that service is also currently unavailable.

In Nepal, there are 27 digital wallet applications, with a substantial number of users relying on Esewa.
