KATHMANDU: Genese Solution, a leading IT and Cybersecurity Consulting firm, has provided laptops to five students who successfully completed a 10-day IT training program organized by the Company. These students were selected for internship opportunities but lacked personal devices, prompting this initiative to bridge the digital gap and support their learning journey.
The initiative aimed at empowering local youth with practical IT skills through hands-on training, providing internship opportunities for trainees to apply their skills in real-world environments, and eliminating digital barriers by providing laptops to students who lacked access, enabling them to pursue their internships and further learning.
Addressing a program organized at Arun Rural Municipality office in Bhojpur district, eastern Nepal on 15th May, chair of Arun Rural Municipality, Shalikram Khatri, said the initiative will help shape trainee’s future careers. He thanked Genese Solution for training and supporting local youth in acquiring skills and providing mentorship.
Retired AIG of Nepal Police and Patron of Sitaram Padma Kumari Foundation, Bhim Dhakal, emphasized the importance of digital literacy in modern society and hoped that this support would open a whole new career opportunity for local youth.
Mrs. Sonika Jha, Senior Manager – Learning and Development, Genese Solution – shared the program briefing and objectives.
