KATHMANDU: The government has recommended six Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) for promotion to the vacant posts of Additional Inspector General (AIG) in Nepal Police.
The promotion recommendation committee, chaired by Home Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi, selected DIGs Chandrakuber Khapung, Lalamani Acharya, Krishnahari Sharma Pokharel, Dan Bahadur Karki, Rajan Adhikari, and Manoj KC.
Khapung, Acharya, and Sharma joined the service in 2052 BS, while Karki, Adhikari, and KC entered in 2054 BS. All six are among the most senior officers.
