KATHMANDU: A Force Motors vehicle (Lu 2 Kha 6271) traveling from Nuwakot in Rukum West to Nepalgunj met with an accident, leaving five passengers injured.

According to local authorities, three of the injured have sustained injuries to their arms and legs, while the remaining two are reported to be in serious condition.

The injured were rushed to a medical facility in Bagchaur Municipality of Salyan district for initial treatment, said Krishna Shah, in-charge of Simkholi Police Station.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and remains at large. Police are still working to confirm the identities of the injured, Shah added.
