KATHMANDU: Three children have died following a suspected case of poisoning, while their mother remains in critical condition and is receiving medical treatment in an incident reported from Shahidnagar Municipality-5, Yadukuha in Dhanusha district

The deceased have been identified as Aditya Sah (6), Aakriti Sah (4), and Aarushi Sah (2). The incident occurred around 6:40 PM on Monday evening.

The children’s mother, 30-year-old Pabita Sah, is receiving care on a ventilator at the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur. Authorities believe that all four individuals consumed poison, although the exact circumstances remain under investigation.

Local residents discovered the family at home and immediately arranged for them to be transported to the hospital. The children were pronounced dead upon arrival. Further investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and background of the incident.
