KATHMANDU: An earthquake has struck with its epicenter in Urthu Chautara in Jumla district.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, an earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale occurred at 11:56 am today with its epicenter near Urthu Chautara in Jumla.
Earlier, on 22nd Magh, an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale occurred with its epicenter in Tolijaisi, Dailekh district. Earthquakes have been occurring in Nepal recently. Nepal is considered an earthquake-prone area as it is located in the Himalayas.
