PALPA: A jeep accident in Palpa has resulted in three fatalities, with two others, including the driver, injured.
The District Police Office, Palpa, confirmed that the incident took place last night in Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality (Siddheshwor).
The jeep, bearing registration number Lu 3 Cha 2377, was en route from Asare to Thulopokhari when it lost control and fell approximately 200 meters off the road at around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as 31-year-old Chetnarayan BK, 36-year-old Dipendra Budha, and 22-year-old Janak Regami Magar, all from Rainadevi-1, Palpa, according to DSP Sunil Malla, the District Police Office’s Information Officer.
The driver, 27-year-old Ranjan Reshmi Magar, and 22-year-old Saroj Budha sustained injuries in the crash. Magar’s condition is reported to be critical. Both are receiving medical treatment at Lumbini Hospital and Mission Hospital in Palpa.
