KATHMANDU: Two individuals who were injured in a gas cylinder explosion at the ‘Shandar Momo’ shop in Kamalpokhari last week have died.

Rabin Rai and Bhim Bahadur Ghale, who were hurt in the blast, passed away while being treated at Kirtipur Burn Hospital, as reported by the District Police Range, Kathmandu.

SP Apilraj Bohara confirmed that the two victims died on Monday from their injuries.

Eleven others were seriously injured in the explosion at the momo shop last Thursday and are currently receiving care at Kirtipur Hospital.
