KOLKOTA: Crores of rupees fraud in the name of investment! The cyber cell of Kolkata Police has arrested a person from Nandanpalli of Dattapukur police station from his house on receiving a complaint.

The arrest was made after receiving information about huge transactions in the bank account of the arrested person. Investigators are investigating whether anyone else is involved in the incident. According to police sources, the name of the arrested person is Rajdeep Sinha. He is a resident of Dattapukur police station area.

Last year, a person named Hamid Ansari filed a complaint with the police. He contacted the accused through WhatsApp. The accused added him to a group. The accused showed some fake RBI documents and persuaded Hamid to pay a total of about 1 crore 12 lakh 44 thousand rupees.

After receiving this complaint, the police started an investigation. There, the investigators came to know that the cheated person once transferred 14 lakh 32 thousand rupees
