KATHMANDU: In the final match of the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup Cricket Tournament underway in Malaysia, Singapore has set a target of 114 runs for Nepal.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Singapore were bowled out for 113 runs in 40.5 overs.
Rohan Austin was the top scorer for Singapore with 23 runs. Riyan Nayak contributed 15, Vedansh Gupta scored 12, and Aakash Teja added 10. No other batsman reached double figures.
For Nepal, Sushil Bahadur Rawal and Abhay Yadav took 3 wickets each, Shubham Khanal grabbed 2, and captain Bipin Prasad Sharma claimed 1 wicket.
Nepal reached the final by defeating host Malaysia, while Singapore secured their place by beating Hong Kong.
Nepal remains unbeaten in the tournament, while Singapore suffered their only loss against Nepal in the group stage.
