KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club has won its second consecutive match in the ongoing PM Cup. Army defeated Sudurpaschim Pradesh by 8 wickets in the match held at Siddharthnagar Stadium on Wednesday.
Chasing a target of 118 runs set by Sudurpaschim, Army achieved the target in 23.5 overs, losing 2 wickets.
Santosh Karki scored 55 runs in Army’s win. Santosh scored a half-century for the second consecutive match. He had scored 76 runs against Bagmati in the first match.
Earlier, Sudurpaschim, who had won the toss and elected to bat first, was all out in 45.3 overs and scored 117 runs. Nischal Bohora scored 49 runs for Sudurpaschim. Similarly, Army bowler Shahab Alam took 4 wickets while Sompal Kami took 2 wickets.
After this win, Army has 4 points from 2 matches, while Sudurpaschim has 2 points from 3 matches, including one win and 2 losses.
