Minister Chaudhary Inaugurates National Wushu Judge and Diploma Courses 2025

KATHMANDU: Youth and Sports Minister Tej Lal Chaudhary officially inaugurated the 7th National Wushu Judge Examination Course and the 11th National Wushu Diploma Examination Course 2025, organized by the Nepal Wushu Federation, at Dasharath Stadium.

In his remarks, Minister Chaudhary emphasized his commitment to prioritizing the development of the sports sector and the well-being of athletes. He assured that the government is dedicated to enhancing the nation’s sports infrastructure and launching programs to bring Nepal’s sports scene to the international stage.

Highlighting concerns about certain unlawful activities within the Nepal Wushu Federation, Minister Chaudhary warned that if these are not addressed promptly, the government will intervene to safeguard athletes and resolve the ongoing confusion.

The event drew significant participation from board members of the National Sports Council, officials from various sports associations, Wushu coaches, and players.

The Nepal Wushu Federation expects these courses to enhance the expertise of coaches, referees, and athletes. The initiative is aimed at strengthening the technical and managerial aspects of Wushu, ultimately producing skilled professionals capable of representing Nepal in both national and international competitions.
