KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has forecast possible rainfall in various parts of Nepal for Saturday.

The Division has stated that skies across the country will remain partly to generally cloudy.

Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is expected in several hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, with isolated showers possible in other regions as well.

A few high hill and mountainous areas may also experience light rain or snowfall.

For tonight, hilly regions in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are likely to remain partly to generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see mainly clear to partly cloudy conditions.

Light to moderate showers with thunder and lightning are expected at isolated locations in these hilly areas.

Similarly, light rain or snowfall is also likely in some high hill and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
