KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which fell on the first day of trading this week, has seen a double-digit improvement today. The NEPSE index increased by 15.83 points today to settle at 2,683.24.
Today, 12,263,780 shares of 309 companies were bought and sold 65,824 times, resulting in a turnover of Rs 6,345,895,977.
Monday, shares of 169 companies increased, while 67 companies decreased. The shares of 9 companies remained unchanged.
