Bhuwan Singh Ghalan, Ward Chairman of Kailash Gaupalika-9 of Makwanpur has been arrested on charge of child sexual abuse.
Makwanpur Police Chief Superintendent of Police Surendra Gurung informed that Ward Chairman Ghalan has been arrested. On Friday, the Makwanpur District Court had issued an arrest warrant against him.
A student studying in a school in Kailash village municipality who came to Hetauda to participate in the school level Presidential Running Shield Sports Competition has been accused of sexually abusing children by Ward Chairman Ghalan.
A complaint was lodged at the District Police Office.
