Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dhan Raj Gurung, has stated that the government would not compromise in its efforts to maintain good governance.
At a seminar organised by Nepali Congress, Syangja, on Sunday on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of BP Koirala, Minister Gurung said, "The government could be targeted from all sides while opening cases of different issues in the course of maintaining good-governance. It does not matter if the government topples."
He further said he would always stand in the side that all those involved in corruption should be brought under the ambit of law whoever they are.
Also the Vice-President of NC, Gurung stressed that NC should move ahead implementing the BP's guidelines in practice and NC would be successful in it.
Similarly, lawmaker and NC District Committee President of Syangja, Raju Thapa, mentioned that BP's principles are still relevant in the present situation.
The NC Syangja District Committee had also organised a blood donation programme in the party office on the occasion.
