KATHMANDU: The country is currently under partial influence from westerly winds.
This morning (Tuesday), mist and fog are covering many parts of the Tarai, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear, as reported by the Weather Forecasting Division.
The Division also predicts the possibility of rain in some areas today due to the westerly wind.
In a bulletin issued on Tuesday morning, which analyzes the weather for the next 24 hours, the Division stated, "Mist and fog are likely in many areas of the Tarai and the valley in the morning, which may affect daily life, tourism, mountaineering, road transport, and aviation during that time. Necessary precautions are advised."
