Long working hours increasing deaths from heart disease and stroke: WHO, ILO

Long working hours led to 745 000 deaths from stroke and ischemic heart disease in 2016, a 29 per cent increase since 2000, according to the latest estimates by WHO and the ILO published in Environment International today.
