In the first six months of the current Fiscal Year, about Rs 10 billion has been spent for the prevention of coronavirus. According to the data released by the Ministry of Finance, Rs 9.69 billion has been spent on prevention, control and treatment of coronavirus.
Out of this, the federal government has spent the most of Rs 7.74 billion. The Ministry of Finance said Rs 66.6 million spent from the local level.
According to the ministry, Rs 13.31 billion was spent on COVID prevention in the previous fiscal year. Of that, Rs 10.73 billion has been spent by the federal government.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the state spent Rs 2.28 billion and the local government spent Rs 297.8 million in that fiscal year.
