KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the exchange rates for foreign currencies today (Monday).
While the US dollar remains steady, most other foreign currencies, such as the Australian dollar, euro, pound, and dinar, have seen an increase in value.
According to the Rastra Bank’s published rates, the buying price for one US dollar is 135.73 rupees, with a selling price of 136.33 rupees. The US dollar has maintained this rate for the past three days.
For the euro, the buying rate is 141.57 rupees, and the selling rate is 142.19 rupees. Yesterday, the rates were 141 rupees for buying and 141.62 rupees for selling.
The pound sterling’s buying rate today stands at 170.62 rupees, with the selling rate at 171.37 rupees. Yesterday, the buying and selling rates were 169.72 and 170.47 rupees, respectively.
For the Australian dollar, the buying rate today is 84.84 rupees, and the selling rate is 85.21 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate was 84.50 rupees, and the selling rate was 84.87 rupees.
The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at 440.61 rupees and sold at 442.56 rupees today. Yesterday, the buying rate was 440.42 rupees, and the selling rate was 442.36 rupees.
Similarly, the Bahraini dinar’s buying rate today is 360.03 rupees, with a selling rate of 361.62 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate was 359.72 rupees, and the selling rate was 361.33 rupees.
