The 4th National Industrial Exhibition and Trade Fair in Butwal has been postponed due to rainfall. The fair was closed on Wednesday after the rain did not stop on Tuesday night.
Govinda Prasad Gare, president of the association and the organizer of the fair, informed that all the programs including the cultural program to be held on Wednesday have been postponed.
"All of Wednesday's events have been postponed because of the rain," he said.
There are 470 stalls in the fair which started on December 23 under the slogan "National Industrialization and Trade Diversification for Independent Economy".
Secretary General of the Fair Secretariat Coordinating Association, Padam GC, said that there were not a lot of customers in the stalls due to the rain. He said that the fair generates a daily turnover of around Rs. 30 million.
