KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released today’s (Friday) foreign currency exchange rates.
The US dollar’s value remains stable, while several currencies, such as the Australian dollar and Kuwaiti dinar, have decreased in value. In contrast, the Euro, Pound, and Bahraini Dinar have seen an increase.
As per the rates issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is 134.23 Nepali rupees, and the selling rate is 134.83 rupees, which has been consistent for the last three days.
Today, the buying rate for one Euro is 145.82 rupees, with a selling rate of 146.47 rupees, reflecting an increase from yesterday's rates of 145.39 rupees (buying) and 146.04 rupees (selling).
For one Pound Sterling, the buying rate today is 174.26 rupees, while the selling rate is 174.04 rupees, compared to yesterday's rates of 174.12 rupees (buying) and 174.89 rupees (selling).
Today, one Australian dollar is priced at 88.11 rupees (buying) and 88.50 rupees (selling), down from 88.30 rupees (buying) and 88.70 rupees (selling) yesterday.
The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar today is 437.76 rupees, with a selling rate of 439.72 rupees, compared to yesterday’s rates of 437.83 rupees (buying) and 439.79 rupees (selling).
Meanwhile, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is set at 356.02 rupees, with a selling rate of 357.72 rupees, up from yesterday’s 356 rupees (buying) and 357.59 rupees (selling).
