Gold, which was traded at Rs. 102,000 per tola the previous day has risen by Rs 500 per tola today. According to the details made public by the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs of Nepal, the price of acid gold is Rs. 102,000 per ounce today. Its price was Rs. 10,500 per ounce on the previous day.
Similarly, the price of silver today rose by Rs 5 per ounce making it Rs 1,420 per ounce, according to the federation. This has had a direct impact on the import of gold and silver into the market.
As the demand for gold and silver increases with the onset of the wedding season, businessmen have demanded that the government consider alternative measures. Gold is being traded at around 1,985$ per ounce in the international market today
