Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that the government would encourage the knowledge, skill and capital of Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs).
Speaking at the 11th International General Convention of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) here Tuesday, the Finance Minister urged the NRNs to make investment in the areas that the NRNs have identified as the potential areas for Nepal's economic growth.
Reiterating that the country could be taken ahead on the path to prosperity through hydropower development, Dr Mahat stated that the NRNs should invest for the motherland's development. He also urged the NRNs to make their investment with confidence since the laws have assured the returns.
