Great Wall Motors launches three new vehicles in Nepal

All three offerings are unparalleled in comfort, style, and performance.

VG Impex, which currently has a showroom for GWM in Thapathali, Kathmandu, has said it will expand its network in the key towns of Nepal once the situation normalises. It also has plans to soon open a state-of-the-art service centre. The company also plans to focus on 4S service (sales, service, spares and survey) in compliance with the standard of Great Wall Motors.

The three models of GWM that VG Impex has launched in Nepal are:

Third Generation HAVAL H6

This variant is a class apart in terms of SUV comfort, luxury, class and panache. Its looks are complemented by the performance and output it delivers marrying them very intimately. This SUV offers an output of 2.0-litre petrol engine with turbo 4WD and also offers an output of 150 kW and torque displacement of 320 Nm. This along with higher ground clearance provides a smooth driving experience even in very rough terrains of a country like Nepal.

Beside technical excellence in performance, it also offers great looks in terms of the panoramic sunroof and automatic wipers, multifunctional leather steering, 8-way adjustable driver seating arrangement, and wireless charging. The eight airbags provide utmost safety with additional features like ABS+EBD, 360° camera view, HHC (Hill Hold Control), and anti-collision mechanism like SCM (Second Collision Mechanism) + FCM (Forward Collision Mechanism) to name a few features.

Media features like touch screen, smart and intelligent infotainment system, and innovative LED lighting provide an enhanced driving experience. In-built intelligent mobility features like L2 level automatic driving ACC at full speed, Traffic Signal Recognition (TSR) and lane-keeping will give the rider greater sense of security and control. Leather seating, cool colours like Hamilton White, Ayers Grey and Atlantis Blue, nice legroom stretching in a relaxed manner, and good ergonomics with black interiors provide for a comfortable ride for both the driver and the passengers. The 71.61 per cent high steel body frame gives it the robustness and strength of the rock-solid fort on wheels.

This model is available at a starting price of Rs 9,699,999.

HAVAL JOLION

This model comes in three variants with 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. It has a maximum power output of 110 kW with a torque displacement of 220 Nm. This along with higher ground clearance provides a smooth driving experience even in very rough terrains of a country like Nepal. Four drive mode and electric parking braking system is backed by 73 per cent high-strength steel body to provide stability and safety.

Besides technical excellence in performance, it also offers great looks in terms of the panoramic sunroof and automatic wiper in the exterior and multifunctional leather steering with paddle shifter, 6-way adjustable driver seating arrangement, power heated front seats, and napa leather seat covers. The eight safety airbags provide utmost safety with additional features like ABS, HHC, and HDC (Hill Hold Control and Hill Decent Control), Driver Drowsiness Detection and Event Data Recorder for timely intervention for better control and anti-collision mechanism like SCM (Second Collision Mechanism) will minimise any untoward incidents.

Media features like touch screen innovative front LED lighting along with rear fog lights to provide enhanced and more in-control driving experience. Interiors have additional features like front and rear USB ports, two-screen linkages, and car play android synchronisation provide a more satisfying experience.

The Haval Jolion is available at Rs 5,549,999 and in five amazing colour combinations of blue, black, grey, Hamilton White, and Mars Red.

POER Pick-Up

This pick-up model will be available in two variants of Elite and Pilot and is equipped with 2.0-litre diesel engine. It has a maximum power output of 120 kW with a torque displacement of 400 Nm. This along with higher ground clearance provides a smooth driving experience even in very rough terrain for a country like Nepal. It has a high tensile steel body which provides the toughness suitable for Nepal's geographic and road conditions.

It also has a sunroof, a pretty new offering for a pick-up. Poer has a keyless push start feature for a hassle-free experience, a leather steering wheel for a comfortable grip, hydraulic power steering for better control, and steering wheel bottom control. Amazing leather seats for the passenger and a six-way adjustable seat for the driver to manage twist and turns better. The six safety airbags provide utmost safety with additional features like ABS, Rear sensor, and rear camera to gauze the distance between objects while maneuvering, HHC and HDC (Hill Hold Control and Hill Decent Control), Vehicle Stability Control for stability, and Speed Warning system to take it easy.

A 9-inch touch screen and car play and android support provide a great media experience. Rear and front fog lights help better visibility in poor conditions and amazing automatic lights make the experience even more surreal. High strength 83.9 per cent steel cage trapezoidal body provides strength for higher load-carrying capacity.

The Poer Pick-Up is available in Nepal at a starting price of Rs 6,499,000.
