With a focus on sensitizing potential investors to investment opportunities for sustainable infrastructure in Nepal and for the advanced investment climate, the Investment Board Nepal is organizing a Sustainable Infrastructure Investment Forum from September 14.
The key objective of the Forum is to explore ways on how foreign investment could be made more reliable and systematic in the country while ensuring the sustainability of the development process.
Organizing a news conference on Sunday, Chief Executive Officer of Board Sushil Bhatta said the Forum would discuss the ideas of making development construction works sustainably while making it green, resilient, and inclusive. He added that the Forum would be a cornerstone for resource mobilization to achieve net-zero carbon emissions as committed by Nepal in the COP-26.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to inaugurate the Forum, Board's Spokesperson Amrit Lamsal said.
