Nepal Rastra Bank sets updated exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the set rates, the value of the US dollar remains unchanged.

Meanwhile, the values of the European Euro, UK Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Japanese Yen, Malaysian Ringgit, Swedish Krona, Danish Krona, Kuwaiti Dinar, Hong Kong Dollar, and Bahraini Dinar have risen.

In contrast, the value of the Bahraini Dinar has fallen, while some other foreign currencies have maintained their previous values.

Based on the official rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is 136.56 rupees, and the selling rate is 137.16 rupees.

For one European Euro, the buying rate stands at 142.67 rupees, with the selling rate at 143.30 rupees.

The buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is 172.90 rupees, while the selling rate is 172.84 rupees. One Swiss Franc can be bought for 151.46 rupees, with the selling rate at 152.12 rupees.

The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is 85.23 rupees, and the selling rate is 85.61 rupees. The buying rate for one Canadian Dollar is 94.99 rupees, with the selling rate at 95.41 rupees.

The buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is 100.72 rupees, and the selling rate is 101.17 rupees.

For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is 8 rupees 66 paisa, while the selling rate is 8 rupees 70 paisa.

One Chinese Yuan can be bought for 18 rupees 71 paisa, with the selling rate at 18 rupees 79 paisa. For one Saudi Arabian Riyal, the buying rate is 36 rupees 37 paisa, and the selling rate is 36 rupees 53 paisa.

The buying rate for one Qatari Riyal is 37 rupees 46 paisa, with the selling rate at 37 rupees 62 paisa.

Additionally, the central bank has fixed the following rates: The buying rate for one Thai Baht is 4 rupees 1 paisa, with the selling rate at 4 rupees 3 paisa.

The buying rate for one UAE Dirham is 37 rupees 18 paisa, and the selling rate is 37 rupees 34 paisa.

The buying rate for one Malaysian Ringgit is 30 rupees 58 paisa, and the selling rate is 30 rupees 72 paisa.

For other currencies, the rates are as follows: The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is 9 rupees 27 paisa, and the selling rate is 9 rupees 31 paisa. The buying rate for one Swedish Krona is 12 rupees 42 paisa, with the selling rate at 12 rupees 47 paisa.

The buying rate for one Danish Krone is 19 rupees 13 paisa, and the selling rate is 19 rupees 21 paisa.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Indian Rupee is set at 160 rupees, and the selling rate is 160.15 rupees.
