KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a drop of 33.08 points. Today, the NEPSE index fell by 1.26 percent to 2,576.50 points.
According to NEPSE, 13,174,379 shares of 308 companies were bought and sold 69,923 times, generating a turnover of Rs 5.674686 billion.
The share prices of finance companies have seen a high decline today. The finance group has decreased by 5.19 percent. Similarly, the development bank group has decreased by 2.77 percent and the trade group has decreased by 0.97 percent.
Based on the transaction amount and number of shares traded, the highest number of 1.5 million eight thousand five hundred and fifty-seven shares worth Rs 359 million four hundred and ninety-two thousand three hundred and forty-four were bought and sold today.
