KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) increased by a modest percentage point on Thursday. Today, NEPSE increased by 4.19 points to 2630.71 points.
Today, NEPSE increased by 0.15 percent, with 29.78 million shares worth 5.32 billion 92 million 74 thousand rupees being traded. The share prices of 70 companies increased while the share prices of 163 companies decreased. The share prices of 9 companies remained stable.
With 310 companies in trading, shares were bought and sold 61,839 times. The share prices of 2 companies experienced a positive circuit while the share prices of 5 companies experienced a negative circuit.
Out of 13 groups, the share prices of 4 groups increased while 9 groups decreased. The highest trading group increased by 2.31 percent to 4,718.85 points, while the commercial bank group increased by 1.81 percent to 1,427.91 points.
